چکیده
Several types of orchids that are in great demand and cultivated by various groups Phalaenopsis sp. Dendrobium Mycorrhizae needed orchid plants to complete their life cycle. This is because mycorrhizae capable symbiosis with the root system host plant so plant's capacity absorb elements will increase. study aims determine extent which Ceratorhiza induction on amabilis discolour can suppress symptoms Odontoglossum ringspot virus (ORSV) infection. The method used this was a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) 2 factors 4 replications. first factor type used, namely (A1) (A2), while second administration mycorrhizae, viruses, mycorrhizal viruses. Observation disease done looking at appear leaves have been infected ORSV. results showed appeared were form mosaic, necrosis, leaf malformation, mosaic necrotic. not able infection based obtained; treatment inoculated viruses more severe compared only increased response discolours decreased length, width, number. Meanwhile, organ, an length number roots.

Production and Regeneration of Protoplasts from Orchid Mycorrhizal Fungi Epulorhiza repens and Ceratorhiza sp
The aim of this work was to study the standardization of conditions to obtain and regenerate Epulorhiza repens and Ceratorhiza sp. protoplasts. For E. repens, the largest number of protoplasts (8.0 × 10 protoplasts/mL) was obtained in 0.6 M KCl, using 15 mg/mL of Lysing Enzymes, and 2-day-old fungal mycelium. When 0.5 M sucrose was used as osmotic stabilizer, the highest frequency of regenerati...
متن کاملDetection of Cymbidium Mosaic Virus (CYMV) on Vanda Plants
Orchid plants are the members of Orchidaceae consisting of more than 25,000 species, which are distributed almost all over the world but more abundantly in the tropics. There are 177 genera, 1,125 species of orchids that originated in Thailand. Orchid plant collected from different nurseries showing Chlorotic and mosaic symptoms were observed on Vanda plants and it was suspected to infect with ...
متن کاملReciprocal function of movement proteins and complementation of long-distance movement of Cymbidium mosaic virus RNA by Odontoglossum ringspot virus coat protein.
Complementation of movement and coat proteins of the orchid-infecting potexvirus Cymbidium mosaic virus (CymMV) and tobamovirus Odontoglossum ringspot virus (ORSV) was investigated. Nicotiana benthamiana, which is susceptible to both CymMV and ORSV, was used as a model system. Four transgenic lines, each harbouring one of the movement protein (MP) or coat protein (CP) genes of CymMV or ORSV, we...
متن کاملCharacterization and taxonomic placement of Rhizoctonia-like endophytes from orchid roots.
Twenty-one Rhizoctonia-like fungal strains were isolated from the roots of four terrestrial orchid species from various locations in Hong Kong. The cultural morphology, nuclear number of the hyphal cell, pore ultrastructure, and RAPD and CAPS analyses of rDNA fragments revealed that most of these isolates were associated with the genera Ceratorhiza and Epulorhiza. RAPD analysis showed the prese...

The present study was conducted to evaluate the status of the parasite fauna in Acipenser persicus at different development stages, in order to find prevention protocols for parasitic diseases in this valuable species. For this purpose, sampling from each sex breeder, 10 egg samples, 5-day-old larvae (n = 20), 20-day-old larvae (n = 80) and fingerling of A. persicus (n = 60) r...
